Rack and Pinion Conversion

The original idea was to use a XF power steering box. That was fine in theory, but the XF steering arms, drag link and idler arm were just all wrong. You are supposed to use the original drag link and steering arms and modify them to suit the XF pitman arm. Rather than go down this path so late in the construction, I opted for a full rack and pinion conversion from RRS. Why didn't I do this in the first place? It was so easy, saved heaps of space and weight and feels great!
